Planning Policy and Major Sites Delivery Manager
£59,852 – £62,585 per annum | 37 hours per week | Permanent Post
Warwick District Council is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced manager to lead a team encompassing planning policy, site delivery, development monitoring and the Community Infrastructure Levy.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team in planning policy, major sites delivery, development monitoring and the Community Infrastructure Levy.
- Manage the delivery of major sites in key growth areas.
- Produce the Local Plan and other planning policy documents.
- Act as council lead on cross‑boundary planning activity.
- Monitor and assess development activity.
- Ensure the council meets its commitments to high‑quality development and the Climate Emergency agenda.
Qualifications
- Experienced and qualified planning professional with management experience.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering development projects.
- Ability to work with stakeholders in a politically sensitive environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex work and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience of formulating planning policy.
