An international defence and engineering organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Architect & Project Manager to support a major enterprise-wide SAP transformation programme. The role will focus on delivering new and existing SAP capabilities while ensuring the long-term stability, scalability, and sustainability of critical business systems.

Environment
This organisation is undertaking a large-scale migration from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA using a Greenfield approach across multiple business domains. The programme provides a significant opportunity to modernise and consolidate enterprise systems while implementing best-in‑class solutions for business users globally.
The position will primarily focus on:
- Local deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions
- Post-go-live operations and support
- Governance and release management
- Transition management from legacy ECC6 environments
- Collaboration across business and IT functions within a complex transformation landscape
Key Requirements
- Strong experience designing and implementing SAP architecture solutions
- Deep understanding of SAP integration frameworks and enterprise system landscapes
- Experience supporting live production SAP environments during transformation programmes
- Knowledge of SAP release management and governance processes
- Proven ability to ensure scalability, security, compliance, and technical standards
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across both business and technology teams
- Experience managing external vendors and implementation partners
