Jesus College Cambridge is recruiting a Systems Analyst to join the IT Department. This newly created role will involve liaising with other college departments to identify opportunities for improving and streamlining existing processes, building upon existing systems or researching new solutions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Working with college departments to identify processes and workloads that can be simplified or streamlined with additional IT improvements.
• When internal development is necessary, working with the IT development team to create a system definition and design.
• When existing systems could be better used, providing guidance and documentation where required.
• When new commercial systems are required, identifying viable solutions and working with the Head of IT and departments to choose the most appropriate solution.
• Promoting the use of new or underused tools, especially within the Microsoft 365 environment.
