Overview
Reporting to the Infrastructure Solutions manager, this position joins a highly skilled and motivated IT team within the IT Services sector of AtkinsRéalis, responsible for design and delivery of solutions. The team provides technical solutions that drive business success and focuses on IT Design and L3 support across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and design (HLD/LLD), implementation and documentation for projects.
- Gather and document requirements, identify suitable solutions to meet both functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Implement, test and deliver solutions on time and with professionalism.
- Support L2/L3 level Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with project organisations to estimate time and resources needed.
- Communicate concisely and lead technical discussions with stakeholders, colleagues and third parties.
Qualifications – Essential
- At least L2/L3 level experience of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
- Design and implementation experience with Nutanix HCI.
- Excellent understanding of HPE Enterprise server and storage platforms.
- Excellent understanding of Veeam Backup and Replication.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Server technologies including domain services.
- Solid understanding of Fibre Channel, iSCSI and core networking fundamentals.
Qualifications – Desirable
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SCOM.
- Experience configuring and hardening server management tooling (iDRAC, iLO, OneView).
- Nutanix/Microsoft certification or equivalent experience.
