Role Overview

The CCTV Investigations Analyst is responsible for monitoring live CCTV feeds, analysing incidents and supporting the organisation’s security and loss prevention objectives within a dynamic control centre environment.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor multiple CCTV feeds to identify potential incidents or risks
  • Investigate incidents using video footage, system data and analytical tools
  • Produce accurate incident reports and elevate findings to the appropriate teams
  • Support real‑time investigations and live monitoring operations
  • Maintain compliance with company security, data protection and privacy standards
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of control room processes and efficiency
  • Ensure all systems are operational and promptly report any faults or downtime
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, operations managers and field teams

Education Requirements

  • Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Further education or qualifications in Security, Criminology, IT or a related field are desirable

Licensing Requirements

  • A valid SIA CCTV Public Space Surveillance (PSS) licence is mandatory for this role
