WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivatedindividualwith a commitment toteam working.Youmust haveexperience producingimpactfulcontent for different audiencesand strong writing skills which help proposals leap from the page. We are seeking an excellent communicator withgreat attention todetail,proactiveand diligent.Youwill play a key roleinbuildingstrong relationships,including managing a portfolio of smaller trusts and supporting the wider trusts team withhigh-valuefunders.
You must have strong research skills, excellent organisational ability, with experience in using a CRM or other digital platforms to manage workflow. You should also enjoy copywriting, crafting proposals and creating updates for our partners.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Manage a portfolio of Trust and Foundations that have an incomeless than £100,000.
- Provide tailored stewardship to donors in the portfolio, including special thanks, proposals, reports, and relevant materials.
- Design, write, and deliver persuasive, creative, and tailored funding applications that inspire investment in ShelterBox’s work.
- Coordinate with programme, finance, communications, and impact colleagues to gatheraccurateproject information, budgets, and stories that strengthen proposals.
- Supportthe Trusts and Foundations Manager and Senior Philanthropy Manager withhigh valueproposals,helping tocollatedue diligence,assistwithcopywritingandproposal design.
- Assistthe Trusts and Foundations Managerand Senior Philanthropy Managerwith reporting tohigh value funders, supporting withresearch,copyanddesign.
- Contribute to the development of the trusts and foundations pipeline,researchingandidentifyingnew prospectsand undertakingdue diligence.
- Establish strong working relationships with colleagues across ShelterBox and within the global affiliate network to maximiseopportunities and share learning.
- Represent ShelterBox at Philanthropy events,across the UK
- Uphold ShelterBox’s values, safeguarding principles, and fundraising best practice in all interactions and written materials.
- Responsible formaintainingaccuraterecords, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all funder communications and submissions are logged in line with internal processes.
Any other duties as required which are deemed appropriate to the level and grade of the post.
