I’m working with a growing private banking and wealth management firm that is looking to hire an experienced Relationship Manager / Private Banker to support its next phase of growth.

The role

You will be responsible for managing, developing and growing relationships with private clients, with a focus on UK resident / UK-connected clients.

This is a growth-focused role, so the successful individual will need to be comfortable building relationships, generating new business and developing a credible client pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing relationships with HNW and UHNW private clients
  • Building a pipeline of new UK client opportunities through personal networks, introducers and professional connections
  • Providing holistic wealth management and private banking support
  • Working closely with investment, lending, planning and operational teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients across their wider wealth needs
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the private client proposition

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within private banking
  • A strong focus on UK clients, ideally UK resident or UK-connected HNW/UHNW individuals and families
  • Experience managing and growing a book of private client relationships
  • A demonstrable ability to originate new client opportunities
  • Strong technical understanding across investments, wealth planning and lending
  • Excellent relationship management and client-facing skills
  • A credible network of clients, introducers and professional connections
  • Minimum CISI Level 6 qualification, or equivalent

This role would suit someone who is currently operating as a Private Banker, Relationship Manager, Wealth Manager or Senior Client Adviser within a private bank, wealth management firm or similar HNW/UHNW client environment.
