Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team at Clio (UK/IE Region). This role reports to the Manager, Compliance and focuses on expanding and automating Clio’s compliance program to support product growth and third‑party attestations. The Senior Compliance Analyst will work with stakeholders across Clio to support initiatives such as risk mitigation, innovation in AI and product development, customer inquiry support, control maintenance, and embedding best practices throughout the organization.
Who you are
You are a seasoned compliance professional with keen interest in process automation and experience designing and implementing compliance programs. You have worked through audits, conducted audits, and generated metrics on compliance program status. You focus on optimization through consolidation and automation of assessments, possess a healthy curiosity to understand the why behind decisions, and are skilled in designing compliance frameworks.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and implementing Clio’s control automation initiatives
- Ongoing auditing and reporting on Clio’s compliance program state
- Working with cross‑functional technology and business stakeholders to develop practices and outcomes aligned with our compliance objectives
- Create metrics and track program effectiveness and efficiency
- Lead discussions and strategize effective adoption of changes that may affect Clio
- Participating in gap assessments, compliance readiness, and compliance monitoring
- Maintenance, support, and reporting on the Risk Management program
- Working with the Privacy Program Manager to identify and resolve privacy compliance issues within the product
- Collaborating cross‑functionally with technology and business stakeholders to discover, track, and resolve privacy impact assessments and ensure effective privacy practices
- Leading or conducting internal compliance assessments and coordinating external compliance audits
- Understanding where compliance requirements must be met and where we must exceed
- Weighing in and participating in the vendor management process
- Mentoring junior team members to assist in leveling up the team’s knowledge and capabilities
Additional Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Security or Audit certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA
- Familiarity with Information Security principles, knowledge of IT processes (e.g. Change Management)
- Strong product and project ownership skills
- Vendor Management, Incident Management, Risk Assessment/Management, Data Privacy Operations
- Excellent analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with GRC or compliance tools (e.g. OneTrust, Standard Fusion, ZenGRC, Fusion Framework, Securiti.ai)
- Interest or passion in process automation
- Ability to balance competing priorities across multiple tasks
- Curiosity, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Serious Bonus Points if you have
- Previous technical experience (e.g. Network and System Administration, Python/Ruby scripting, Workato)
- Experience in a legal office environment or highly regulated environment
- Active privacy certifications (CIPP/C, CIPP/EU, CIPM, etc.)

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is €76,700 to €90,200 to €103,700 EUR, with separate bands for other regions based on local currency. Salary bands reflect the skills and experience required and allow room for growth.
