Accounts and Audit Senior Manager
We are recruiting an Accounts and Audit Senior Manager to join a modern, high‑growth accounting practice with a diverse client base primarily in Surrey and surrounding areas. The role is newly created, client‑facing, and offers clear potential for progression to Director within 1–3 years.
Job Description
The successful candidate will review and prepare statutory accounts, oversee the audit team, and liaise closely with clients and partners. The role includes training and supporting junior staff on ACA and ACCA programmes, contributing to a well‑defined training plan. Responsibilities
- Review and prepare statutory accounts for a range of private businesses.
- Supervise audit team operations and ensure high quality deliverables.
- Maintain client relationships and act as the primary contact for audit and advisory services.
- Provide training and mentorship for junior staff pursuing ACA/ACCA qualifications.
- Advise on accounting best practices and enhance audit processes.
Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA‑qualified senior accountant with up‑to‑date accounting and audit skills.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Tech‑savvy, proficient with Xero or similar accounting software.
- Motivation to obtain the Practising Certificate and RI status to progress toward Director level.
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be based on experience within the flexible band of £75,000 – £85,000. All candidates are welcome to apply for higher remuneration, and we offer ongoing opportunities for career progression.

Location
The role is based in Leatherhead and is commutable along the A3 Surrey Corridor, including the towns of Epsom, Weybridge, Woking, Guildford, Horsham and surrounding areas.
