IMS Auditor

Sizewell C’s business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. While the Company is in the construction phase, the Board’s principal focus is on the development and construction of Sizewell C on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The Company is maturing to meet all these requirements.

Location

Based in London on a hybrid basis with travel to Suffolk as required.

Contract

Permanent, full-time.

Salary

£56,506-£66,866k dependant on experience, plus benefits.

Benefits

  • Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
  • Bonus: 5% annual bonus.
  • Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution 15% employer contribution.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IMS Auditor to support the development and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) across one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure and nuclear energy projects.

This role is ideal for a quality or assurance professional with strong auditing experience in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or energy.

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as an IMS Auditor, Quality Auditor, or Assurance professional
  • Lead Auditor qualification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of integrated management systems and ISO standards
  • Experience working within regulated industries, ideally nuclear or major infrastructure projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit activities
  • Strong analytical and report writing capability

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within nuclear new build, EPC, or large construction programmes
  • Knowledge of UK nuclear quality assurance expectations
  • Familiarity with supply chain assurance and contractor management
  • Understanding of CDM regulations and safety management systems
