Job Summary

This 9‑month secondment will place you in the Corporate Strategy & Business Development team at our Hammersmith office (4 days in the office and 1 day remote). You will develop and deliver EMEA‑wide business strategies and initiatives, collaborating across levels in EMEA and the US, and presenting findings to senior leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Support strategic and financial analysis of growth opportunities for Disney+ in EMEA, such as evolving the commercial offer, introducing new product features, and launching in new markets.
  • Work with regional business leads and Country Managers to build business cases for new opportunities, identifying revenue streams, costs, risks, and reviewing local business plans for viability and alignment.
  • Provide advanced business modelling and analysis of financial data to support business operations.
  • Support preparation of the annual strategic business review and five‑year plan, coordinating with regional and US/Global stakeholders.
  • Monitor key market trends in consumer behaviour and competitors, extracting insights that inform business decisions.
  • Evaluate potential commercial partnerships, assessing strategic fit and financial and operational impacts, including:
    • Collaborations with other streaming services.
    • Distribution of Disney+ through wholesale partners such as pay TV, telecom operators, and consumer brands.
    • Strategic partnerships with external content producers, including linear TV channels.
    • Licensing opportunities for external content and rights such as films, series, and sports.
  • Support and deliver integrated EMEA initiatives identified by the EMEA President.
  • Provide ongoing support across strategic and operational priorities.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in a top‑tier management/strategy consultancy firm or within a media organisation’s central business development/strategy team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think structurally and conduct or review complex quantitative analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Big Data analytics tools such as Alteryx is desirable.
