Breast Care Nurse

• To provide clinical expertise within Breast Care Team, acting as a role model in the delivery of patient care.
• The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team locally and externally to ensure standards of care maintained and work within the Breast Care Team to promote service development within the speciality.
• Act as a key worker to provide information and support for patients accessing the Breast Care Service.
• The post holder will have the knowledge and skills to work autonomously managing his/ her caseload of patients.
• The post holder is expected to act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
