Mon Fri 9 – 5 plus on call.

Employment Type

Fixed term post for 12 months, starting August 2026.

Role Overview

Senior Clinical Fellow (ST7 level) in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The role involves working primarily in trauma with possibility to undertake an oncology fellowship later in the post. Candidates will be part of a busy unit encompassing adult and paediatric craniofacial surgery, cleft care, facial deformity, facial trauma and head and neck oncology.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the regional on‑call rota.• Develop clinical skillset across OMFS.• Engage in a range of duties including trauma, craniofacial surgery, cleft care, facial deformity, facial trauma and head and neck oncology.• Maintain a logbook and undergo appraisal within 6‑12 months of the post.

Qualifications

• Full registration with the General Medical Council and a licence to practice.• Candidates must have completed or be nearing completion of their own higher surgical training programme.• Candidates should be eligible for or hold full GMC registration.
