Location: Malvern
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 plus annual bonus and Management Incentive Programme
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications Required: Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (essential); Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred or must enrol within 6 months)
Experience Required: At least 2 years in residential childcare with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Ofsted Registered Manager to lead an Intake & Assessment residential service supporting children and young people.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by overseeing admissions, providing stabilisation placements and ensuring children receive high‑quality care tailored to their individual needs.
The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the service and ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planned and emergency admissions into the service.
- Manage bridging placements and assessment placements for young people.
- Deliver structured daily programmes designed to support each young person’s development and wellbeing.
- Lead and support a residential team to deliver consistent, high‑quality care.
- Ensure compliance with SCCIF, childcare legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Manage resources, budgets and staffing effectively.
- Support children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties through trauma‑informed care.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and demonstrate strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
