Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Registered Home Manager to take the lead at a small, specialist residential service for adults with autism. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll be instrumental in delivering outstanding, person‑centred care. From building a positive team culture to ensuring regulatory excellence, you’ll shape a warm, supportive environment where every individual can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong, values‑led leadership to a dedicated care team
- Oversee all day‑to‑day operations of the residential home
- Ensure the home meets and exceeds CQC standards and statutory regulations
- Design and implement personalized care plans in partnership with residents and families
- Promote physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing through quality support
- Manage staff recruitment, supervision, training, and performance
- Monitor budgets, care records, and compliance systems with attention to detail
- Foster strong links with families, professionals, and the local community
Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in residential care
- Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
