As one of the local leading providers of palliative and end‑of‑life care, St Andrew’s Hospice is a highly successful and forward‑thinking charity with a turnover of c£6m, offering both adult and children’s services. With an excellent reputation both in the local community and beyond, we reach over 800 patients and their families in Northeast Lincolnshire and our wider catchment area of Lincolnshire, Hull and East Yorkshire for our children’s services and are growing our services to meet the expected increase in need.

We invite an ambitious, compassionate, and clinically driven Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist seeking a development role to join our evolving specialist palliative care service in a newly developed role designed to strengthen clinical leadership, improve patient flow, and enhance continuity across inpatient, community, and rapid‑access services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing advanced clinical practice within a modern hospice environment and contributing to service transformation at a senior level.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with the Palliative Care Consultant/Medical Director, Medical and Nursing teams, and wider MDT to support increasingly complex patients with life‑limiting illness, while helping shape the future delivery of hospice care.

Qualifications

You will be a Registered Nurse with a master’s degree in advanced clinical practice or a clinical nurse specialist with Independent non‑medical prescriber qualification, with post‑registration experience preferably within palliative care or another relevant discipline. Evidence of autonomous advanced clinical decision making and excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
