ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Barchester, you will travel across your region to deliver the high clinical standards we are known for. We expect you to lead a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure that on each shift, at every location, all residents receive the highest quality care. Your responsibilities will include welcoming new residents, advancing team members’ skills, and developing care plans tailored to each resident’s physical and mental needs. As a Peripatetic Nurse, you will have the freedom and autonomy to act the right way and be truly valued and respected for your work.
ABOUT YOU
You must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Up‑to‑date clinical knowledge and a solid understanding of key regulatory frameworks—including safe medication administration, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards—are essential. We also require a successful track record of creating care plans and detailed risk assessments. Dedicated, ambitious, and a strong communicator, you will lead by example, motivate teams in each Barchester care home, and foster a can‑do attitude.
