Equans is looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join our team in Motherwell. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building services equipment.
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multi-technical systems.
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective corrective actions with minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, site managers, and clients to ensure seamless service execution.
  • Carry out various multi trade tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain and care for company tools and equipment, and keep the work area clean and tidy.
  • Fulfil any Appointed Person / Responsible Person requirements across the sites.
  • Manage company van responsibilities including care and key holding duties.

Who are you?

  • Proven experience as a multiskilled engineer in facilities management, building services, or industrial environments.
  • Strong technical skills across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and related trades.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Good problem-solving skills with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Current relevant certifications and qualifications – Mechanical or Electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
