The Role – Field Service Engineer
This is a hands‑on, varied, and well‑paid engineering role where no two days are the same.
- Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, install and commission ScaleAQ systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment including motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, and PLC systems
- Carry out workshop repairs at our Fort William base
- Provide technical advice and support to customers
- Complete electronic job sheets, risk assessments, and reports
- Full product training provided
Who We are Looking For
- Aquaculture
- Marine or offshore
- Industrial maintenance
- Manufacturing, automation, or plant engineering
You will have
- Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience
- Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, or PLCs
- Good IT and fault‑finding skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A flexible, problem‑solving mindset and strong communication skills
Travel & On-Call
- Mainland Scotland
- Orkney
- Western Isles
- Ireland
Some short‑notice travel is required, and you will join a weekend on‑call rota (with extra pay).
