Manchester – £51,027 + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits

Hours: Typically 8am – 5pm with flexibility required

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering supermarket refrigeration systems across the Manchester area.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on supermarket chiller units, display refrigeration, and warehouse cold storage equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance
• Service supermarket chillers, display units, and warehouse refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and recommend replacements where required
• Complete technical and compliance paperwork accurately
• Ensure works are completed within agreed response times
• Participate in 1 in 4 call-out rota
• Maintain high health & safety and customer service standards

Requirements

• Proven commercial/supermarket refrigeration experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence

Package

• £51,027 basic salary
• Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Sat / 2x Sunday
• £500 quarterly bonus during the first year
