The Role

We are supporting a leading manufacturer in Coventry who are looking for a multi‑skilled, electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a long‑term contract. This role sits inside IR35 and can lead to a permanent position for those interested in a long‑term role.

The candidate will carry out planned, reactive and preventative maintenance across fast‑paced production equipment, ensuring machinery uptime, supporting shift production teams and keeping the site running safely and efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production machinery, robotics and automated equipment.
  • Complete PPM, reactive and continuous improvement work to minimise downtime.
  • Support production teams with fault finding and quick‑response breakdown activity.
  • Work within safe operating procedures, quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to a reliable maintenance function within a busy manufacturing environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Strong background within fast‑paced manufacturing, ideally automotive.
  • Confident in fault finding, diagnostics and supporting production equipment.
  • Able to work a rotating three‑shift pattern.
  • Someone who can start quickly and integrate into an established team.
