We're working with a leading UK pensions and investment consultancy looking to hire a Senior DC Investment Consultant into their established Defined Contribution team. This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded DC consulting business advising a broad range of trustee and corporate clients across the UK. The role offers a strong mix of client advisory work, business development, market engagement and mentoring responsibilities within a collaborative and forward‑thinking team.

The role

You will work closely with a portfolio of clients, delivering strategic DC investment advice and helping schemes navigate an evolving pensions landscape. The position would suit someone who enjoys relationship management, strategic thinking and contributing to wider team growth.

  • Providing tailored DC investment advice to trustee and corporate clients
  • Managing and developing client relationships
  • Supporting new business activity including tenders, pitches and presentations
  • Contributing to the wider profile of the DC consulting team through networking and industry engagement
  • Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Supporting the ongoing development of the firm’s DC investment proposition

About you

Candidates are likely to have:

  • Experience working within the pensions industry
  • Strong knowledge of the DC market, including areas such as auto‑enrolment, Chair's Statements, SIPs and disclosure requirements
  • Experience providing investment advice to trustee and/or corporate clients
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to work
  • Good analytical and project management capabilities

The business is open to individuals who may not tick every box but can demonstrate strong relevant experience and the ability to grow into the role.

Qualifications

Candidates are likely to be FIA/FFA or CFA qualified, or otherwise appropriately authorised to provide investment advice.
