We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a large-scale Legacy system transformation programme within a complex, regulated environment. This role will lead requirements definition, shape delivery standards, and support the successful transition from Legacy platforms to modern solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience across end-to-end transformation initiatives, combined with deep expertise in Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements definition and management across a large-scale transformation programme.
- Drive clarity and alignment across business and technology teams.
- Support backlog creation, refinement, and sprint readiness within an Agile delivery framework.
- Establish and maintain core project artefacts, documentation standards, and best practices.
- Partner closely with product owners to enhance delivery capability and maturity.
- Contribute to programme structure, governance, and delivery frameworks.
- Ensure continuity and stability across transformation phases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on large, complex Legacy transformation programmes.
- Strong background in Agile delivery methodologies and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead requirements across end-to-end delivery life cycles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in evolving or less mature delivery environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience within insurance, financial services, or similar regulated industries.
- Familiarity with policy administration or insurance-related systems.
- Understanding of digital transformation strategies and modernisation approaches.
