The role:
- As a Lawyer in Liverpool City Council you will provide legal advice and representation in areas of law of relevance to the Council including information governance and public law challenges to decisions
- You will have personal responsibility for a varied caseload, and act as a subject expert, with appropriate support and supervision from a Senior Lawyer or Head of Law
- You will help and support a team of Legal Officers where required
- You will contribute to the supervision and development of Trainee Lawyers in the team
- This role reports to the Senior Lawyer for the discipline
- You will work collaboratively within your team and the service to meet deadlines and achieve targets
