You will need to be a fully qualified counsellor to a minimum of Level 4 Diploma in professional counselling and a member of the BACP. Primarily working remotely, with one designated day per week spent in the office.
Main duties of the job
Make a real difference every day by delivering compassionate, focused telephone counselling.
Provide 30-minute telephone counselling sessions to individuals considering or undergoing abortion, to those seeking post-abortion support, and to clients accessing vasectomy services. Manage sessions efficiently, ensuring they start and end on time, and maintain accurate, computerised case notes.
Identify safeguarding concerns and refer clients appropriately in line with policies.
