Performance Scientist | Norwich City FC (Jobs in Sports Performance Analysis TheASPA)
Norwich City FC are seeking a Performance Scientist to join the Men’s First Team Performance Department at the Avant Training Centre.
This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-driven practitioner with experience in elite sport performance environments, supporting data-informed decision-making across training, matchday, and rehabilitation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead collection, management, and reporting of First Team performance data
- Deliver live GPS and heart-rate monitoring during training
- Implement data-driven recovery strategies to optimise player availability
- Produce visual insights and performance trend reporting
- Lead research and innovation projects relating to injury, rehab, and performance
- Oversee performance technology, SOPs, and data governance
- Support innovation through trialling emerging technologies
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in elite team sport (preferably football)
- BSc in Sport Science, Performance Analysis, or related field
- Strong understanding of performance monitoring and applied sport science
Desirable
- MSc/MRes in a related discipline
- UEFA B Licence or equivalent
