Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is focused on developing battery business throughout the telecom and datacentre industry in UK and Ireland.
- Identify potential new customers and decision makers within the organization and build relationships.
- Work with technical team and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and provide feedback on market trends.
- Identify opportunities for sales campaigns, marketing and services that will lead to increase in sales.
- Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new products and services.
- Track and review customers’ performance against targets.
Bonus scheme defined below –
Performance-Based Rewards: Bonuses will be linked to individual achievement against agreed targets. 100% based on Gross Profit (GP) generated vs target.
Transparent Criteria: Clear metrics will be communicated so you know exactly what is required to qualify; the methodology will be as follows with worked example.
- Base: an agreed % of base salary will be split into 4 equal elements that shall be achieved by achieving the GP targets for each quarter period.
- Excess: where GP exceeds the agreed target threshold, 5% of that excess shall be paid.
Quarterly Review: Performance will be assessed every quarter, with bonuses paid shortly after each review period.
- Q1 – paid in April – 100% quarterly base and 50% of excess achieved.
- Q2 – paid in July – 100% quarterly base and 50% of excess achieved, plus any balancing payment.
