Customer Services Executive

Softcat is a leading IT infrastructure provider and a FTSE 250 listed company. We are looking for a Customer Services Executive to support our sales teams and manage the returns process at our Marlow Head Office.

Responsibilities

  • Processing requests for returns and/or credits.
  • Unravelling and resolving all queries and discrepancies with customers and suppliers.
  • Processing credits and re‑invoices for customers, working closely with credit control.
  • Resolving duplicate shipments with Accounts Payable and suppliers.
  • Understanding internal processes and systems to provide support and advice to sales teams.
  • Accurately processing financial transactions such as raising customer and supplier credits and understanding their impact on the wider business.
  • Serving as the dedicated Customer Service representative for several sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent multi‑tasking ability.
  • Quick learner with ability to retain large amounts of information.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and work hard.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong communication and administration skills.

Working Patterns

  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
  • Flexible hours – freedom to adjust start and finish times.
  • Flexibility around school pick‑up and drop‑offs.
