Zurich is seeking an innovative Analytics Manager to focus on developing the sophistication of our Market Pricing analytics strategy in eTrade. Working in Retail Underwriting, you’ll partner closely with Product and Technical Pricing teams, developing market optimisation models and coaching others to turn data into valuable insights and successful business outcomes. You’ll play a vital role in developing a diverse team and building an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the SME e‑Trade Market Pricing strategy to drive profitable portfolio growth, including price optimisation and life‑time value modelling.
  • Identify, shape, and lead market pricing changes, collaborating with product owners to refine and enhance pricing sophistication.
  • Own a thorough impact assessment process using tools such as Radar—ensuring robust analysis, best practices, and safe deployment of change.
  • Coach, mentor, and empower our team of analysts—encouraging technical excellence and providing professional development.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Technical Pricing, Product, and Digital teams, facilitating cross‑functional collaboration and influencing product direction.
  • Foster insight‑driven decision‑making by delivering actionable performance analytics on a regular basis.
  • Champion a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, collaborating with teams across the business to create a supportive and innovative work environment.

Your skills and experience

  • Significant experience in either advanced analytics (e.g., predictive modelling) or general insurance market pricing, or a blend of both.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies—balancing technical depth with commercial awareness.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Radar and SQL is beneficial; a strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a strong commercial acumen—able to articulate insights to a wide range of partners and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, innovative, and continuous‑improvement mindset— with an emphasis on upskilling colleagues and challenging the status quo.
  • Desire to lead and grow a diverse team, promoting inclusive practices and a positive working culture for all.
