This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex nuclear projects within one of the UK’s most safety-critical environments, contributing directly to the UK’s clean energy future. **What You’ll Be Doing:**As Project Manager, you will:* Lead the safe delivery of projects in line with company procedures and client expectations, ensuring all project objectives are achieved within the agreed time, cost, and quality baselines.* Develop and implement project execution strategies in agreement with the client’s Project Portfolio Manager (PPM).* Coordinate cross-functional project teams, engaging with internal departments, client stakeholders, and supply chain partners.* Ensure effective management of project scope, risks, budgets, and schedules throughout the full lifecycle.* Uphold high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance, including adherence to CDM and other regulatory frameworks.* Prepare key project documentation including business cases, sanction papers, and performance reports.* Act as the main point of contact between the client and the Operations Manager for project delivery.* Occasionally travel to other UK sites as required.**What You’ll Need:*** A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.* A formal project management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ, PRINCE2) and a strong grasp of modern PM methodologies.* Proven experience leading projects through their full lifecycle, ideally within nuclear, energy, or similarly regulated environments.* Strong understanding of engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial contracting.* Knowledge of safety cases, CDM regulations, and environmental and health & safety legislation.* Demonstrated experience with estimating, cost control, risk management, Earned Value tools, and use of planning and reporting software.* Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative, results-driven mindset.* Has the ability to gain security clearance. **Benefits:*** Competitive salary and benefits package.* Free single medical cover and access to digital GP services.* Enhanced parental leave pay and family-friendly benefits.* Professional development support, including reimbursement for memberships.* Participation in Amentum’s Collectively programme (paid volunteering, matched donations, and more).* Flexible and hybrid working options may be available, depending on the project requirements.**About NRL** The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
