Key responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Technical Services function.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing Managers, Supervisors and Coordinators.
  • Create a high-performing, collaborative and people-focused culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Oversee technical specifications, reports, calculations and drawings.
  • Support complex technical queries, guarantees and escalations.
  • Ensure industry standards, best practice and company processes are consistently achieved.
  • Champion positive leadership, engagement and professional development throughout the department.

About you

We are looking for an experienced leader who combines strong operational capability with emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for people development.

You’ll be confident leading large teams within a technical, operational or construction-related environment and enjoy building strong relationships across all levels of a business.

Required qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience leading and developing sizeable teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative, empathetic and motivational leadership style.
  • The ability to drive performance, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Technical confidence within construction, building envelope or roofing sectors (advantageous but not essential).
  • A proactive mindset with ambition and enthusiasm for ongoing growth.
