Role Summary
An established specialist contractor within the roofing and façade sector is looking to recruit an experienced Roofing Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team.
The company delivers specialist roofing, cladding and façade packages across a range of commercial projects throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed tenders for Tier 1 contractors and major construction clients
- Produce accurate take‑offs and scope mark‑ups using Bluebeam software
- Calculate labour, material and preliminary costs using estimating spreadsheets
- Populate bills of quantities and pricing schedules
- Review specifications, drawings and tender documentation
- Offer value engineering solutions where appropriate
- Attend client meetings and maintain strong client/supplier relationships
- Assist with handovers for secured projects
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator
- Strong knowledge of multiple roofing systems, particularly flat roofing
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- Good understanding of roofing materials and installation methods
- Proficient with Bluebeam, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong communication and organisational skills
