Truckwash Supervisor – £13.87ph. Joining moto is easy, we’re not seeking colleagues with years of experience or a degree, we’re just looking for enthusiastic people ready to get stuck in, making a difference for our customers, being part of our amazing team and helping us transform the UK’s rest stop experience.

Truck Wash Supervisor

We’re now looking for a hands‑on Truck Wash Supervisor to take ownership of day‑to‑day standards in our truck wash operation, ensuring every vehicle is cleaned safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. This is a great opportunity for someone with supervisory or senior operative experience who enjoys being on the ground, leading by example and helping deliver a great service for professional drivers. Don’t worry about the skills, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

What we offer

  • Up to £440 annual bonus scheme*
  • Up to 60% colleague discount for you, family, and friends
  • Enhanced benefits, including pension, sick pay, maternity, paternity, and life assurance
  • Fabulous development opportunities including funded qualifications

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the truck wash operation on shift
  • Coordinate workflow, vehicle movements and bay readiness to meet customer demand
  • Make sure all vehicles are cleaned to specification, including exteriors and trailers
  • Ensure safe use of equipment and cleaning chemicals, following all health & safety and COSHH procedures
  • Monitor standards of cleanliness, quality and customer service — and step in quickly when needed
  • Provide on‑the‑job guidance and support to colleagues working in the truck wash
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues or customer queries
  • Report faults, incidents, near misses and maintenance issues promptly
  • Support audits, stock control and basic reporting with the Truck Wash Operations Manager

While this role doesn’t have direct line management responsibility, you’ll coordinate activity on shift and help keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll bring to us

  • Experience in a supervisory, shift coordination or senior operative role (desirable)
  • Confidence to take ownership of standards and guide others on shift
  • Strong communication and organisation skills, with a calm approach under pressure
  • A proactive, responsible attitude to health, safety and quality
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and carry out physical tasks safely
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

Due to some responsibilities within the role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
