Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated team of one assistant manager and Advanced Support Workers, delivering person‑centred care.
- Provide strong, values‑led leadership and foster a positive, empowering culture.
- Develop and improve the supported living service for a young woman with Pathological Demand Avoidance, Autism and complex needs.
- Ensure high‑quality support is delivered at all times, safeguarding and risk management included.
- Implement and monitor individual care and support plans, ensuring consistency and best practice.
- Model best practice, facilitate reflective practice and promote continuous learning.
- Encourage and manage positive risk‑taking while maintaining safety and compliance.
- Support the team in record‑keeping, data management and use of basic IT systems.
- Work closely with the individual’s network and professionals to meet her goals and aspirations.
Qualifications
- Level 5 in Positive Behaviour Support (or willingness to work towards it).
- Professional qualification in Health and Social Care: Nursing, Social Work, SVQ Level 3 + supervisory units (Scotland) or Care Management Level 3 (England).
- Experience managing supported living or complex care services.
- Experience leading teams, motivating and developing staff.
- Experience with complex behaviours and autism spectrum conditions.
- Strong organisational, resilience and emotional intelligence.
- Basic IT skills with willingness to learn.
