Responsibilities

  • Lead a dedicated team of one assistant manager and Advanced Support Workers, delivering person‑centred care.
  • Provide strong, values‑led leadership and foster a positive, empowering culture.
  • Develop and improve the supported living service for a young woman with Pathological Demand Avoidance, Autism and complex needs.
  • Ensure high‑quality support is delivered at all times, safeguarding and risk management included.
  • Implement and monitor individual care and support plans, ensuring consistency and best practice.
  • Model best practice, facilitate reflective practice and promote continuous learning.
  • Encourage and manage positive risk‑taking while maintaining safety and compliance.
  • Support the team in record‑keeping, data management and use of basic IT systems.
  • Work closely with the individual’s network and professionals to meet her goals and aspirations.

Qualifications

  • Level 5 in Positive Behaviour Support (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Professional qualification in Health and Social Care: Nursing, Social Work, SVQ Level 3 + supervisory units (Scotland) or Care Management Level 3 (England).
  • Experience managing supported living or complex care services.
  • Experience leading teams, motivating and developing staff.
  • Experience with complex behaviours and autism spectrum conditions.
  • Strong organisational, resilience and emotional intelligence.
  • Basic IT skills with willingness to learn.
