We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager to oversee daily operations, lead large teams, and ensure the highest service standards across multiple contracts. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines people management, client engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Cleaning Supervisors and Operatives (15+ staff depending on site).
- Ensure high‑quality service delivery across cleaning, soft services, and facilities contracts.
- Schedule and conduct audits and inspections, whilst driving continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets and cost efficiencies across sites.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, including conducting training and enforcing safe practices.
- Drive team performance through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Support induction, and development of staff.
- Oversee scheduling, rotas, and staff cover to ensure service continuity.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cleaning/management leadership role (healthcare, education, commercial, or industrial preferred).
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, industrial cleaning practices, and health & safety regulations.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential for multi‑site travel).
- Right to Work in the UK (required).
- Enhanced DBS is required for this role
