Here at Wincanton, we're currently looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our team in Dartford, supporting our high profile customer. Reporting into the Shift Manager, you'll play a key role in the day to day running of the warehouse, managing colleagues, delivering against KPIs and ensuring excellent customer service.

This is a full time, permanent role working 14:00-22:00, any 5 from 7, with some weekend and bank holiday working required as the site operates 24/7.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Warehouse Colleagues to consistently achieve KPIs.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, loading, unloading and order processing.
  • Plan and allocate resources to maximise efficiency and meet customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, ensuring processes are clearly defined, communicated and regularly reviewed.
  • Maintain a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring safe working practices are always followed.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven leadership experience within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes including inbound, outbound and order fulfilment.
  • Proactive, improvement focused mindset with the ability to influence positive change.
  • A commitment to safety, high standards and excellent customer service.
