With a thriving restaurant, regular private events, and a variety of functions throughout the year, we are seeking a committed and experienced Chef to join our professional kitchen team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a diverse menu offering, including breakfast, lunch, evening meals, and function catering. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help maintain the high standards our guests expect while contributing to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
Assist with the preparation and service of meals for our restaurant, hotel guests, and private events
Ensure all food hygiene and safety standards are consistently met
Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in a professional kitchen (essential)
Strong work ethic and a passion for delivering quality food
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings
Access to own transport is essential due to the rural location
Working Hours
Full-time position with 8-hour straight shifts
Example shifts include: 6:30am2:30pm, 8:00am4:00pm, 1:00pm9:00pm
Weekend work required on a rotational basis
