Since the first pint brewed in 1882 to our state-of-the-art Dragon Brewery in Cardiff today, Brains has built a reputation for producing quality, characterful beers. From iconic brands such as SA, Brains Dark and Rev James, to Barry Island IPA and Bayside Lager, we have a beer for every occasion.
As we enter an exciting new phase of growth, we are looking for a Customer Services & Telesales Executive to help drive sales, strengthen customer relationships and support the continued expansion of our brands across Wales and the UK.
Job Brief
This is a sales-first role at the heart of the business.
You will be responsible for proactively selling our portfolio, growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities through outbound telesales activity. Alongside this, you’ll deliver excellent customer service, acting as a key point of contact for orders, queries and account support.
You will play a critical role in driving revenue, increasing distribution and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Telesales & Account Growth (Primary Focus)
- Proactively contact customers to drive sales, upsell and cross-sell our beer portfolio
- Build strong relationships with customers to increase frequency and order value
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through outbound calls
- Promote new products, seasonal ranges and campaigns to maximise sales
- Deliver against daily/weekly sales targets and KPIs
- Track pipeline, follow up leads and close opportunities
Customer Service & Order Management
- Act as a key point of contact for customer queries on products, orders and deliveries
- Process orders via phone and email accurately and efficiently
- Resolve customer issues quickly, ensuring a positive outcome
- Maintain and update customer and sales records
- Manage Online shop & Amazon orders
Operational Support
- Liaise with logistics and supply chain to ensure timely deliveries
- Support the online shop with order coordination where required
- Communicate customer feedback, competitor insights and opportunities internally
- Work closely with sales and marketing to support campaigns and trade activity
Key Accountabilities
- Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets
- Grow distribution and volume across key accounts
- Deliver excellent customer satisfaction and retention
- Maintain high standards of accuracy in order processing and admin
- Represent the Brains brand with professionalism at all times
Key Attributes Required
- Proven telesales or sales experience with a strong track record of hitting targets
- Confident, persuasive communicator with a natural ability to sell
- Results-driven with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering great service
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
