VANRATH are delighted to be working with an well established business based in Belfast City Centre who are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their team to cover an initial interim period. The Purchase Ledger Administrator will sit in the Admin & Finance Team to manage a high-volume purchase ledger and to ensure all financial records are up to date and maintained to the highest standards.

The Ideal Person

If you are an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Admin with 2+ years' experience and interested in joining a fast-paced organisation:

  • Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable (High-volume)
  • Experienced in resolution of customer queries regarding pricing
  • Ability to work in a busy office environment

Responsibilities

As a Purchase Ledger you will be responsible for:

  • Supplier invoice coding to nominal ledger
  • Completing month end accruals and bank reconciliations
  • Raising Purchase Orders (PO's) across various departments
  • Update purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Sales invoicing
  • Allocate payments on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Liaise with external suppliers
  • Other duties as required
