Job duties Loading and unloading vehicles safely Pre-picking steel plate for production and moving materials to and from stock and machinery Operating remote-controlled overhead cranes to move steel plates and finished components Moving produced parts to dispatch and preparing them for shipment Supplying steel plates to machine operators as required Marking incoming steel with unique identification and coding offcuts returned to stock Assisting with burning scrap skeletons using oxy-fuel burning torches Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across work areas Ensuring safe use of machinery and strict adherence to health & safety standards Supporting other duties as required as and when required Please note due to license restrictions, we are only able to accept valid certificates xwzovoh for the OHC, though inhouse tickets for the Counterbalance will be considered Hours Full-time, Monday-Friday Early finish on a Friday 44hrs per week Salary £12.71ph
