Elevation Tech & Transformation are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join one of our key clients in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in sustainability, data analysis and reporting. You'll play a key role in collecting, validating and analysing ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data, supporting the organisation's sustainability initiatives and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyse ESG data across the organisation, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and workforce metrics
  • Support environmental and sustainability reporting processes
  • Maintain trackers and dashboards to monitor KPIs and ESG-related risks
  • Gather and organise ESG data and supporting documentation for internal reporting, external stakeholders, and regulatory requirements (e.g. SECR)
  • Assist in preparing emissions data for CBAM reporting, including coordinating data collection from production teams and suppliers
  • Contribute to ESOS reporting activities
  • Support the calculation of projected emissions for capital expenditure projects
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data collection processes, identifying opportunities for improvement

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in sustainability, environmental science, finance, data analytics, or a related field
  • Experience in data analysis, ESG, or a similar related role
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills or the ability to quickly develop strong IT proficiency
  • Understanding of spreadsheet development, including documentation and error-checking practices
  • Ability to manage and interpret data accurately
