The hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am – 4.30pm. The organisation offers hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The offices are based in Rosyth and can be accessed by local public transport and there is also on-site parking. Reporting to the Senior Accountant and working as part of a collaborative finance function, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information. This is a varied position with exposure to core financial accounting processes and reporting.Performing balance sheet reconciliations Supporting the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements Conducting data analysis and reporting on financial performance Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting process improvements Ad hoc reporting and finance support as required This role is ideally suited to an experienced Assistant Accountant who is keen to add value to their next finance function OR a finance graduate at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn and develop.
