The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-driven and analytical Assistant Finance Manager to join our finance team in Sheffield.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Manage the end-to-end customer rebate process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Calculate monthly rebate provisions and raise customer credit notes
  • Maintain and manage a database of rebate agreements
  • Perform reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Support accruals, prepayments, and deferred income processes
  • Assist with commission calculations and monthly management accounts
  • Produce and distribute sales and financial reports
  • Resolve queries and liaise with internal teams and customers
  • Support the Finance Manager in improving processes and driving efficiencies
  • Build strong working relationships and act as a key contact for account-related queries

What Were Looking For

  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related subject (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Working towards or planning to study ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver accurate work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to learn and develop
