Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent
• Full GMC registration and licence to practise
• Section 12 approval
• Approved Clinician (AC) status or eligibility to obtain AC status within 6 months
• At least 7 years’ experience at SAS level or equivalent
• At least 12 years’ experience since primary medical qualification
• Knowledge, skills and experience relevant to the post
• At least 7 years of experience in psychiatry, including more than 1 year of practice after Section 12(2) approval

Additional Information

There may be the opportunity for the postholder to join one of the on‑call rotas if you hold the necessary qualification and registration. Additional remuneration would be payable for this.
