The Role

As our Head of Outcomes Analysis, you will be the point person for delivering, scaling and evolving the methodology system behind Evident’s private benchmarking (‘Outcomes’) products.

This is a senior, high-impact role where you will shape the way AI adoption, usage and business impact is measured across various financial services sectors and functions. You will begin as a hands-on architect, designing core frameworks, scoring models, and maturity metrics, whilst gradually transitioning into a player-coach, building and mentoring a high-performing team of methodologists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, own and evolve the overarching AI benchmarking framework, to include taxonomy, maturity models, and scoring systems.
  • Deploy frameworks across sectors (banking, insurance, asset management) and functions (risk, operations, front office), ensuring these map to a unified system.
  • Design and maintain our indicators, scoring methodologies, and weightings.
  • Balance analytical rigour with usability for internal teams and clients.
  • Define governance for creating new benchmarks, modifying existing frameworks, and maintaining consistency.
  • Continuously evolve frameworks in line with emerging AI trends and industry practices
  • Act as the internal authority on AI maturity and impact across financial services, whilst also providing support in client meetings and external engagements.
  • Partner with Product to translate methodology into dashboards, reports, and modules.
  • Lead production and QA of benchmark outputs, assessing results critically to ensure defensibility.

Core Skills & Experience

  • 10 – 12+ years in analytics, research, strategy, or quantitative roles.
  • Demonstrable experience in either banking, insurance, or asset management.
  • Experience building frameworks, indices, benchmarking systems, or measurement methodologies.
  • Experience leading – and scaling – analytical or research teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise AI use cases, deployment, and maturity assessment.
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure and operating models supporting AI.
  • Ability to assess real-world AI maturity versus theoretical capability.
  • Familiarity with key business functions (risk, operations, distribution).
  • Strong written and verbal communication, capable of explaining complex methodology to non-technical audiences.
  • Share options: we offer all employees share options over a 4 year vesting period
  • Holidays: 28 days of holiday + public bank holidays
  • Flexible working: 3-4 days per week in our Central London office, 1-2 days remote
  • Pension
  • Private health insurance

  • Evident is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our workforce, and eliminating all forms of discrimination. Our aim is for our workforce to be truly representative of all sections of society and our customers, and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best.
  • During our recruitment process, you will not be discriminated against for any of the following reasons: race (including colour, nationality, ethnic and national origin), age, disability, gender reassignment, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant or on maternity leave, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. If you need us to make certain changes (known as reasonable adjustments) to make sure you are not disadvantaged during the recruitment process, you should contact us as soon as possible.
  • We strive to create a working environment free of bullying, harassment, victimisation and discrimination, promote dignity and respect for all, and value and recognise individual differences and the contributions of all staff.
