Responsibilities

The Site Manager will supervise all site-based operatives and oversee all aspects of their work, ensuring compliance with current codes of practice to a high standard.

  • Oversee operatives and their work, including safety inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Control the quality of work and ensure method statements/Risk Assessments are completed.
  • Ensure all materials used, including those by sub‑contractors, comply with technical and quality specifications.
  • Maintain clean and tidy plant and facilities while keeping accurate records of all work carried out.
  • Drive projects forward, set high standards, and solve problems efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of the CDM regulations.
  • Must hold or obtain an SMSTS Certificate.
  • Substantial experience of the full life cycle of several construction projects, involving the supervision of the project and staff/operatives.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
