The Role

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced Private Client solicitor to take ownership of a growing department. Currently a small team, the practice has a strong platform and clear appetite for expansion. You will manage complex probate, estates, trusts and Court of Protection work, while setting the strategic direction of the department. Alongside fee-earning, you will mentor and develop the team, grow Court of Protection services, and play a visible role in business development. This is a role with genuine influence and long-term potential.

The Candidate & Benefits

  • You will be a senior Private Client solicitor/Head of Department with strong technical expertise and leadership capability.
  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales with significant probate and estate experience
  • Solid Court of Protection knowledge and exposure to complex matters
  • Experience supervising or leading others
  • A commercial, growth-focused mindset
  • A professional, empathetic approach to clients
  • STEP qualification (or working towards) and contentious probate experience are advantageous.
