An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our endourology team as a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). You will become part of a team that drives, leads, and showcases advanced autonomous nursing practice, delivering care to patients with kidney stones in a high-volume centre.
Responsibilities
- Act as an innovator, motivator, and role model to support and implement the Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) pathway within endourology services.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, implement national programmes, reconfigure services, and develop new digitally enabled models of care.
- Participate in and manage the caseload of patients within nurse‑led clinics.
- Provide expert urological nursing care covering stone disease for both in‑patients and out‑patients, receiving direct referrals.
- Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, operational managers, administrators, and patients to deliver the service.
- Maintain professional behaviour at all times, promote a positive image of Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, and ensure patient needs are placed at the centre of care delivery.
