We’re looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to play a strategic leadership role across a portfolio of regional hospitals. In this high‑impact position, you’ll lead the delivery of a forward‑thinking people agenda that supports organisational performance, workforce transformation, and a positive colleague experience. Working closely with Hospital Directors and senior leadership teams, you’ll operate at both a strategic and operational level, ensuring consistent HR delivery while responding to the needs of a complex, multi‑site healthcare environment. You’ll provide expert guidance, challenge thinking, and drive outcomes aligned with business priorities. You’ll also lead change initiatives and embed best practice across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with organisational goals while meeting local and regional workforce requirements.
Qualifications
- Significant experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a complex, multi‑site organisation.
- Strong track record of influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading and supporting organisational change and transformation programmes.
- In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law, with an understanding of regional differences (including Scotland desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision making.
- Experience working across both England and Scotland employment frameworks (desirable).
- CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
- Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring HR teams.
- The ability to balance strategic priorities with operational delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for building high‑performing teams and improving employee experience.
- Resilience and adaptability when working in complex and evolving environments.
