Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Hinckley (with occasional time at Coventry)
Salary: Circa £50K (flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: Mon-Thu 08:00-16:45, Fri 08:00-12:00 (4.5 days/week)
Position: Permanent / Staff
We're seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with strong machining and all-round engineering skills to join a busy, forward-thinking team. You will lead new product introductions, improve manufacturing methods, and embed continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvement throughout the business.
- Implement new manufacturing methods for sustainable benefits.
- Manage WIP and lead times to meet production requirements.
- Support internal and external manufacturing operations.
- Promote teamwork and adherence to planning and safety standards.
Skills & Experience
- Hands‑on experience in machining and general engineering.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and machine tools.
- CAD/CAM knowledge and programming experience.
- Proven ability to challenge processes and implement improvements.
- Aerospace experience desirable but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
